"I hate this school. I have okay teachers but thats because I work hard to get them. The students here are not very nice. When you start going to this school you get labeled and judged before anyone gets to actually know you. They give anti-bullying presentations but its not like that helps. It is all about your looks here. Your either popular or invisible. This school district isn't very good either. They had to take away silent reading for a new class called AP that everyone had to take. They made that class because some people needed academic support. They also have an after-school program called academic support for kids with a C or lower. I know tons of people who went but never got out because their grade never got higher. According to the students all you do is read a textbook while the teachers are doing their own thing. I would hate it if you ended up sending your child here and had the same experience. PLEASE get a boundary exception to a better school! P.S. the sports teams here is also terrible and the school lunches."

"This school is awesome! I had alot of fun and did really well last year and I am definitely going back here next year! The teachers try as hard as they can to help you succeed and pass the AIMS tests. There's no drama here, since we don't have rich, snobby students like Highland Junior High. I would recommend going here because if you try here you will easily pass your classes and you won't have peer pressure either. Go Tigers!!!"

"Think twice before you enroll in this school. The teachers dont care if you fail. They dont help you at all! I switched to greenfield junior high and its wayyy better than this school. Its so miserable there and the front lady at the desk wont help you intil she feels like it. Nobody will greet you or ask if you need something when you walk in. The teachers and office look like they all hate working there. So if i were you i would never enroll there!"

"My son attended 7th & 8th grade. He enjoyed his experience there and made a lot of friends, but as a parent some teachers were great in communicating, others were not. Without snap grades I suspect communication would have been non-existent. I had to work very hard to keep lines of communication open and felt like the administration would rather I let my child fail, until of course he did, then they wanted my input. Mrs. Thompson the counselor was wonderful and the only real saving grace for the school. Information about school activities needed to come home to parents in a more timely manner, and sports communication about games, schedules and changes were horrible. Their sports teams look like the unwanted stepchild with their poor uniforms compared to the other schools and the kids know it. There is no support for the drama department from the school. Consider other options."
