"IHM is very "clicky" with the parents & their children, if you're not in the "click" your son or daughter if they play sports will just sit on the bench while the children of the "coach" & "clicks" play the sport, it's heartbreaking when CYO is supposed to be Catholic Youth Organization, I never saw so much discrimination in my entire life. My child was bullied, teased & didn't even want to go to school most of the time. The teachers are young, inexperienced & only stay a year or two. If I had it to do over, I definitely would NOT send my child to IHM. Also, there's nothing "free" if your child needs a tutor, you have to pay a teacher "cash" in order for them to tutor your child when tuition when my son graduated was up above $3000 yearly. The entire school is slanted towards the "click" & not the children at all. The women "parents" are not friendly, at all, they stare at you, talk behind your back, it's really petty. I was happy my son made it through & was out of there. All my complaints fell on deaf ears, I actually had to contact the Archdiocese about my son NOT playing 1 game while in CYO, he just sat on the bench, heartbreaking. Find another school"

"My son attends IHM and he loves it. He came from another area Catholic school and the difference was amazing. He has gone from struggling to honors every trimester and we couldn't be more pleased with the transition. The principal and staff are caring. There are many active parents and for that, I am extremely grateful."

"I am very happy with this school. My kids have been to almost every school in Roxborough starting with Shawmont. Shawmont was good and Holy Child was great. We had problems at Dobson with a principal who is no longer there but it's a public school which can't do much with disruptive kids except move them around. Holy Child was awesome but there was no emphasis on CYO activities or Home and School. Many reviews on here have criticized the "clicks" at IHM but those "clicks" get the job done. They keep tuition lower than Holy Child and volunteer for events that Holy Child never had and aren't even available in public schools."

"IHM is a great school with a wonderful staff, great group of kids and strong home and school. They are making every stride necessary to ensure that teh IHM education is top notch and that every family is part of the process and the community. I would not trade IHM for any other school."

"I love the community and my children are getting a great education, the Wilson reading method has my kidnergartener reading and my third grader loves her teacher and is learning so much!"
