"This school is very helpful for entering and preparing for high school but they do not encourage or value the arts as much as they should. As a student who benefits the arts as a creative outlet I often felt out of place and excluded because this school celebrates students who are particularly athletic, throughout my time at this school I really only ever felt welcome is my Drama class, the teacher was amazing and so encourage and so helpful, without the theater class I do not know how I would have made it through middle school. Theater class was the only thing that made trying in school and keeping a positive attitude doable. Now there is some wonderful teachers at Rincon Valley Middle school, but there are others who make not athletic students feel outcasted and alone. Unfortunately the Athletic based teachers seem to be the majority. To make this school better for future students I suggest more clubs and after school classes geared to the arts. That way students who may not be as Athletic as the others have a chance to feel included"
