"Have been very disappointed in this school. The only electives available for 6th graders is band and art. Office staff, from principal on down, do not seem to care about special needs students. They want to constantly complain about missed days but are not willing to accomadate students with special needs."

"There are some outstanding teachers here, and some who are just phoning it in. More emphasis is placed on sports than academics, however. Sadly, this is true district-wide. The cafeteria in GJHS is worse than (perhaps) a prison cafeteria: filthy floors, no windows, scant lighting and paint that appears 25+ years old. No exaggeration, parents whose kids attended GJHS 15 years ago say they had same complaint back when....Worse yet, the food is awful so plan to send lunch with your children for their health's sake. On a positive note, the band teachers are among the best anywhere and do amazing work."

"Overall, this is a very good school. The teachers do a nice job, and there are opportunities for students in extracurriculars. Discipline is good, but there are some problems."

"this place has great sports such as volleyball, basketball, and track for girls, and football, basketball, and track for boys. for other electives they have jounalism, office aid, libray aid, art, band, cheerleading, drama or theatre, student helper where an 8th grader helps a student from 6th grade with there work, and so on. and the teachers are great, the coaches help there students, and the principle is great at what he does."

"Graham Jr. High offers a good, strong academic program with a large band, art and sports for both boys and girls. Good facilities with a large community support and good parent involvement. My daughter is in sixth grade at this time and we originally had her in a private school. The transition has been better than we expected and have had good support from the teachers and staff at the school. Our oldest daughter graduated from Graham High School, finished third in her class academically and is now enrolled in a private university with a near full scholarship studying music. There is a large scholarship base from the community for high school students. Overall, Graham has a good school system."
