"Gillespie is not a productive educational facility for any child to attend. My children attended the school for the last time this past term. The classrooms are over crowded and the curriculm is not challenging enough for the students. The staff is very unprofessional and none concerning when it comes to interacting with the parts. Chicago school system is getting worse, and our children are the ones that will be greatly affected by this."

"Gillespie Elementary School, is the poorest educational facility on the South Side of Chicago. The staff at Gillespie is unprofessional especially the principal. Their ideal of helping is constantly suspending a child instead of problem solving. Gillespie is not a good school for any child."
