"I love Grantsville! I am taking a Master's course in teaching and am ALWAYS reminded of my daughter's teacher when they mention good teaching practices because I see these things happening in her classroom consistently. Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in the school. Grantsville has a volunteer program for parents to help out-- see the office. They have PTO, and a Moms-in-Touch Group (outside of school, of course). If the time and day doesn't suit for the Parents day of volunteering, talk to your child's teacher and I am sure they would have tons of ways for you to get involved. The office staff and the principal are great, too. The school did recently set some boundaries to keep children safe and the school in a more orderly fashion, so teachers can TEACH for the entire school day. I can't imagine what more you would want in a school."

"I'm with the other post! UN-WELCOMING ALL AROUND. I have never met a bunch of people that are teaching elementary school that are so mean and unfriendly. Treat parents awful. They are always trying to keep parents out the of school, but then don't understand why they cannot get any support. I am thinking of alternatives for my child. My child's anxiety level has become out of control when having to go to school. This is so sad! I thought school was to be enjoyable. NOT recommended as a school of my choice."
