"I am very happy with the experience that my daughter is having so far @ PS 169. She is blossoming! The staff has been knowledgable, caring and responsive!"

"My children has been attending this school for the past five years and I can only say good things about the school. Yes, some of the young teachers are not as good as some other experienced ones but overall everyone works hard to prepare the children for higher grades. School library is great, they participate in the ballroom dance and encourage everyone to participate, the computer teacher Mr. Gursky is loved by all the students and running a great EPI, Robotics club. There has been a lot of improvements since Ms. Rosa took over so I am surprised read that negative comment. It must be personal. The only complaint which comes directly from my children is the quality of lunch, especially on Fridays where there is pizza and they claim that the lunch aids are often rude to the children. The school is safe, clean and has a lot of opportunities for everyone so I would recommend anyone who would want to move to the area."

"I am so upset with majority of these reviews! My children attended this school for two years prior to relocation out of state this past summer. This is an amazing school with great leadership. I bet you all the "unhappy" parents are NEVER involve in anything the school does!!! They don't attend the PTA meeting or participate in any of the school activities. I was a very involve parent and know for a fact there NO way any involve parent would post some of theses RIDICULOUS comments. I am a single mother who works full time and still made my children s education a priority and that does not mean leaving everything to the administration. We are now located in a very affluent Connecticut neighborhood where they are just now getting Smart Boards in their school...PS. 169 has had it for years. I miss this school even more now that I have something to compare it to. This school is that of a Private school! Get involve! Get to know your Administration! Get to know your child's teacher! and you will quickly see ALL the HARD work that goes into making a school work!."

"i am a student of this school i have attended it since 2nd grade. It is a great school i should know. Iam a very gifted student all the parents dont know they didnt go to the school did they. The teachers are great and fun though i had one teacher who i not sure followed the curriculam. I am on the cheerleading team 2 years in arow. i a graduating and excited the kids are nice though the lunches are probably the lowest in the district."
