"This school is excellent! P.S 193 has high standards and very good teachers, that care for there students, if it was there own. I give this school and excellent rating."

"My daughter just completed her first year here and I thought the school was first rate. They are very strong with e-mail communication to get parents involved at every opportunity without over burdening already busy parents. My daughter felt very loved and cared for in the school. From the moment I dropped her off in the morning I could see the care they took."

"My son entered PS 193 this past year. He is in the 5th grade. I must say that this wonderful and caring school took a school phobic child and turned him into a new person. He loves school! I have no problem getting him to go to school, like I did in the past at his prior school. Mr.E is a wonderful teacher. Made my son feel so at ease . I wish that my son could have been here from the time his educational career began. All I can say is thank you!!!!"

"I am a parent and am becoming disappointed in the way the principal handles bullying behavior. This issue should be taken more seriously."

"When I moved to Whitestone, I heard nothing but good things about PS 193. But I am completely and utterly disappointed. Last year in kindergarten my child had an incompetent teacher. This year, thank goodness my child's teacher is wonderful but that is where anything great ends. The principal is never to be seen, always hiding in her office. At PTA meetings she never answers questions honestly, always scurring around real issues. There needs to be a change!"
