"This is a great school. My son just finished 1st grade here and my daughter finished pre-k. They both loved their teachers and have enjoyed their school year. My son also attended pre-k and kindergarten here as well. We've never had a problem here. The staff is great!"

"Great school if you have a typical child. If your child is anywhere in the ASD I would look elsewhere! We are a military family who moved here to be close to the base, had we known all of the problems we would have trying to get our child the services he needs at school, we would have moved 3 miles down the road to FL. I love the teachers, the new principal is great too, they all really care about the kids and it shows. I just wish they had the funding they needed to get a good special ed program in place."

"This school claims to be the best in the area, yet really needs to reconsider only striving to providefor it's athletes. If your child is in gifted, or needs to be- there are only 2 teachers for the NINE elementary schools and it takes a YEAR to be tested to put into the program because the school won't dole out responsibility of the tests. In addition, the schools in Camden County receive money for (each of) the majority of the student body, since it consists of enlisted dependent's children. (Military area/base) Yet claim there is "no budget" for the gifted program. If there is no budget, then why are there 20 something football coaches employed at the HS? The HS football students have their own nutritionist & are bussed to & from practices. BUT, there are only TWO gifted teachers for 9 schools. Does that sound off to anyone else? The schools seems to me to be shuffling their feet, providing free breakfast to the entire county, cutting money where it shouldn't be cut from. If you send your child to any of the Camden County Public Schools, beware of this problem beforehand. I wish I would've known, we'd have moved to FL instead... There are also no field trips at this school."

"Nothing but problems since my child started! Everybody Says they are trying but aren't actually DOING anything! Can't wait to get out of this district!"

"The teachers are not fair when it comes to discipline. If a black child picks on a white child or a overweight child picks on a skinny child they do nothing to that child for fear of what their parents will say. On the other hand the child getting picked on gets in trouble if they try to defend theirself and will not be allowed to tell the child or vice principal what really happened. I think in this day and age we should all be treated the same. Not get away with stuff because of our skin color or weight. MHES should be ashamed!!!!"
