"What makes my school unique is the diversity we have in it. There are so many students of different culture that it makes our school different and great because of it."

"On a whole, parent involvement is very minimal. The PTO helps to plan the After-Prom but otherwise their contributions are either unnoticed, or they don't make any. THey aren't at all involved in administration as far as I can tell. However parents seem to take an active role in departmental activities. For example, parents of band students are always helping out with the Pasta Dinner, Mattress Sale, Cookie Dough Sale, and chaperoning for the band trip. The only thing parents don't do is play an instrument, except for that one time. The same with Theater, there are some parents who do a lot and others who do a little but they almost always contribute. Like one parent does the make up for the shows all for free. There are not enough parents who seem to be invested in their child's education though. Teachers are always mentioning how barely anyone comes to the parent teacher conferences."

"There are a lot of fantastic teachers at this school. In fact, two of the teachers who teach civil law and criminal law are retired lawyers. And one of those teachers actually runs the mock trial club. And almost all of the teachers that I've had have had a genuine interest in my education. Of course there are some teachers who don't teach well, but they're few and far-between. But I have had a unique experience as a level 9 (honors) student. When talking to a friend who takes level 5(basic) classes, she said that the teachers infantilize them. There are still a lot of teachers who respect level students, but very often teachers expend all their efforts on the college prep and honors classes (level 7 and 9) and have low expectations for them. But at the same time, many level 5 students are disinterested in school, rambunctious, and don't take class seriously"

"The overall quality of the teachers is amazing. They are always willing to help a student when they are in a bad grade hole, they always help students one on one to make sure everyone is understanding the topic."

"Some of the teachers lack the motivation to help their students outside of class."
