"The teachers at Bishop McDevitt are the best teachers around. They are very caring about their students and help anyone who is need. They are very knowledgeable and make their lessons connect to the world we live in."

"Many of the teachers are great at McDevitt, while others are not . The good ones are very friendly, wants you to succeed, and takes the time to understand your needs. Others don't really care about how you are. They give you a lot of homework thinking that you don't have another 7 classes. I understand that the teachers and faculty are trying to prepare us for college, but they often forget that we do need time for ourselves to grow, find ourselves, and be happier people. Teaching styles are usually lectures while you take notes if you choose. Many of they teachers are very good at what the teach but some don't even have a degree in what they teach. Many of the teachers are teachers because they are alumnos. The grading is not always consistent like using the same scale. Not all of the teachers use the same scale and those who do often changes. Because of this it can be hard to keep up."

"I love the school in general, but each year it gets worse. Some of my favorite experiences are constantly making new friends and going on trips with many of the clubs at my school. This year, I went with my fellow Latin classes to a field trip to Philadelphia. We went to the Franklin Institute, a basilica, and a well known prison to understand language more.y school is unique because we do proclaim our faith together such as a school Mass once a month, Reconciliation throughout the year, and a mandatory Religion class every year. If I could do it again, I would go back to McDevitt only if things would change for the better. I would definitely go back for my friends, school activities, and religion based background. I would not go back because each year the teachers and faculty close out our freedom as students and young adults. They raise the tuition and take away scholarships making it hard for more than half of the school to pay."

"I transferred to McDevitt my junior year, which was rough but everyone, teachers and students where so welcoming like I've been then from the beginning! The transition was easier cause I had transferred in from another private school but the hard part was how advanced McDevitt is, which isn't a bad thing! The education was amazing, teachers were great and I'm beyond proud to say I am a Bishop McDevitt Alumnie! Only regret is not going there sooner."
