"I am a student at East Pennsboro Middle School. This year I will be in 8th grade. Upon reading some of the other reviews, I disagree. The school takes matters on safety very seriously and find it very important. The teachers can be tough but it doesn't get any easier when you are in the real world. The teachers are very helpful and understanding. We are awesome at sports, have great school spirit, and have very smart kid in the school. Yes they may have some issues but really, no school is perfect. It is a nice size and amount of kids in a class and they have many clubs and after school activities. I think they would be a good place for you kid or kids to go to school. Have a great day! I hope you take my advice and realize that East Penn works hard. Bell L. =)"

"I am very disappointed with this school. The teachers were not helpful at all with my child who was struggling academically. I did not feel that we, as parents, were taken seriously when we approached the school with concerns."

"Overall I am pleased with the new curriculum. However, the administration is lacking on the part of the principal. Throughout the district I have found the counselors and some staff to be very condescending and often times they take parental matters and decisions into their own hands. I find this to be unacceptable and not something I am willing to tolerate. Otherwise, my daughter is happy at the middle school."

"Very nice school in a super school district. Good blend of students with a semi-rural flavor. Excellent academics, very good sports, adequate facility, poor leadership at the principal level."

"My son currently attends EPMS. I am horrified at the difference from elem to Middle. The teachers and overall education were/are acceptable at the MS. The discipline however, is definitely lacking and the students know it. There is no control and the principal and assistant principal definitely bring the school down!"
