"I love our music department and believe that it is a lot of fun and I can learn a lot in the various music ensembles. I get to have great experiences because I'm a part of music ensembles at Roosevelt because they sometimes get opportunities that other schools' ensembles don't get to participate in."

"Going to Roosevelt High School has been a great experience. I moved to this school during my sophomore year and have loved it ever since. I moved from a much smaller school, so transitioning to a bigger school was intimidating. However, Roosevelt proved to be the best place for that. The students are very kind and welcoming, the teachers are very understanding and helpful, and the overall feeling of the school is great. I'm very glad I moved to Roosevelt and would do it all over again if I had to."

"There are several teachers in this school that go above and beyond the expectation of any teacher. Because of their love of teaching, they have opened my eyes to learning. I wish I could have had them as teachers while in middle school (specifically) history, before my grandfather died. I wish I could go back and ask him questions regarding WWII and days of depression. Things I want to learn from my own family will never be known. This specific teacher made an incredible impression and is a favorite to many students. There are other teachers that I have great respect for in the way they teach and encourage students to succeed. They enjoy teaching and excited to have students in their class."
