"I have high hopes for this school for the future. The last two years has been difficult with the new superintentent but now he is leaving. I hope we can get everything back on a positive path."

"Since moving here 2 years ago, I have found the Hart Gounty schools lacking in the desire to truely put forth the energy to make sure all the kids are getting the best possible education. For the most part my kids teachers are doing the best they can with what little support they have. I have visted the schools and found fights outside going on and no administraters in sight. In the schools defence, looking at the neighboring school system,I did not find it much different"

"I'm a student at Hart County High School. I think that our teachers are great role models. There are a few exceptions, but most of them actually care about their students and their acheivements. You couldn't find better teachers anywhere else. The principal needs to get off Broadway and come back to Hartwell. He's not here to put on a show."

"I am a student at HCHS;I am in College Prep Courses. I am physically disabled, but I am treated just like everyone else. Mr. Grimes is a wonderful principal; the only people that complain about him are the ones that get into trouble. The quality of academic programs is excellent. My favorite class is chorus. The teacher makes the class fun while he is teaching. Mr. Grimes is all about making everyone feel special and he tries to build a good relationship with the students who will allow him to do so. The JROTC Program is a wonderful program. Even if your child doesn't want to join the Military, he or she should consider trying JROTC for 1 semester. It teaches leadershihp skills, respect for your commmunity and family, and to take pride in yourself. I have an older brother who is in the program, and he loves it!"
