"i like the school. I respect the teachers and their Islamic values.. though i have to say the kids leave a lot to be desired and i blame the parents for that, not the school. I know the staff try hard to implement the islamic values but how can a kid copy that when the parents dont? So i can honestly say the staff as far as those i have met, are very caring and do their best to give the word of Islam to the kids. now if we could get the parents to do the same....hmmmmm"

"ALhamdullilah Crescent school was an amazing experiance for me, although i have only gone ther for one year due to the unliking of the teachers/ staff, i regret that i have left. In only Crescent School i felt alike as everyone else, in public schools you are not able to be more open about yourself due to other races/ religons, but in Crscent School i was able to make new friends (that still last today) and i was able to learn and experiance more of Islam"

"I'm entering my senior year, and i've spent 5 years here. its a great skool, with some really good teachers... the environment is good and so is the discipline.... but i think students should be given more voice in school policies"

"Alhamdulillah it is a great school. I spent 5 years there and graduated from it. I am successful in college so far and I'm thankful that my parents put me there. It was definitely a great experience, however I think that because of lack of funds, small income and a low budget, the amount of children who stay there long term is small. The facilities and space as well as staff required to give students an education that is above average is not present. However, it is extremely safe and your kids will learn to be happy to go to school there. The things they will learn will stay with them forever. If i had to do it again, I would."

"As a student of Crescent School i am proud to attend it due to the friendly environment. Sure some of the teachers (im not giving names) can be un-understanding snobs and im not saying the principal's the most friendliest man in the world but i have found the most awesomest friend at crescent and i feel like i can blend in. I mean come on you cant crack a desi joke in a public school without the kids harrassing you about what all these different desi terms mean before they get the joke. Overall, i feel confident in attending Crescent because of the potential i see it has and the wonderful guidance counselor. Even though the principal doesnt understand sometimes, he still wants us to have the best and we're always surrounded in a environment where he constantly reminds us to respect our parents and be the future"
