"I am so grateful that Hightstown was my high school. High school is a very important part of growing up and to have grown up in such a diverse and accepting community is, for lack of better terms, a gift. But it is something that I cannot just repay. A simple "thank you" wouldn't do. I am beyond thankful that I attended my school. We have so much to offer in terms of cultures, clubs, sports, events, teachers, classes, everything you could think of. Hightstown High School is very underappreciated especially since we are close to the academic excellence of The Peddie School, a private high school in our town. But there are many, many intelligent and talented individuals that go to our school. I know a handful of people who got in to Peddie but wanted to go to Hightstown because of its sense of community and overall acceptance of all students. Even schools in neighboring towns don't have the diverse demographics that we do. And it may seem like a trivial thing to focus on for some but it is what shapes our school. Our school is a student body from around the world. I have learned so much from not only the teachers but my students, my friends. I honestly wouldn't trade that for any school in the world. It is such an important matter to me: I want to go to a diverse college and live in the city as I continue my life. I want to experience different things and different people. Diversity and acceptance is what makes Hightstown so unique and it has and will continue to have an impact on the person I am today."

"Things could be better around. The lunches are just okay; the portions could be larger. The people that serve the food could go a little quicker. People cut the lines all the time and there has to be a new system in place to fix that. The no hats inside rule violates freedom of speech. People in the hallways need to learn how to walk in an orderly, quick and respectful fashion. The school could do a lot better job of finding the athletic program; particularly to the cross country and track teams. The coaching is just okay, our athletic director needs to find coaches that are a lot more qualified to coach particular sports."

"I think it's pretty good. Teachers sometimes could get carried away with homework"

"I like it it's pretty good. Although scheduling stuff with teachers is difficult because people may do other things after school"
