"I am a recent graduate of Hillsborough High Schools class of 2008. I have to say after being at this high school for 4 years the experiance overall is really good. The teachers prepare students well for college. And they are also very helpful when a child is struggling or has a problem. There are also a lot of great things to look forward to each year such as the football games and homecoming. Spirit Night in May is also tons of fun. There are also many clubs to join or feel free to create on of your own. The only down side to the school would be the administration such as the vice principals and the principal and the child study team. These people are not very helpful at all and cause more harm then help to the students."

"Since I have attended several different schools in the west coast along with different countries, I can honestly say that this school is much more advanced than your avergare American school. However, this school has given me an opportunity to stretch my horizons far that most schools could not have. Compared with other public schools, this is definitely a good school."

"As a recent graduate of HHS, I can honestly say that there is little I would change about my four years at HHS. All of my teachers went above and beyond the call of duty to help their students. I was more than prepared for the work load at the college level. It is not too difficult to follow the rules of any school, and no teacher is looking to punish a student who is at least trying to follow the rules and do their best work. Part of the education process is learning to function in an efficient and adult setting. HHS does a good job of allowing students to experiment in different classes and extra-curricular activities to determine what they enjoy and what they are good at."

"During my experience at HHS I found the academic programs very challenging and teachers who genuinely cared about their students and the subjects they were teaching. The schools extracurricular activities available were outstanding and the school is very well known for its achievements in music and many sports. Although the parent involvement left much to be desired, it in no way took away from anything the school had to offer. Several of the faculty went above and beyond the call of duty and that will never be forgotten."

"Hillsborough High School is no more than what you would expect from most public schools in America. It's 'politically correct' stance stifles the kids creativity. In our experience, the English curriculum proved to be the best for our child...with some of the most memorable teachers in our daughters high school experience. Overall, the school did a 'fair plus' job. It definitely is not the school it pretends to be."
