"North Royalton HS is a decent school with a rivalry of Brecksville-Broadview Heights HS (the place with a decent football team and some money). The hallways are extremely crowded in NRHS, and the office administration decided to stop students from cutting through our huge library as a transportation method (which has resulted in a huge jump of late slips being given out). The lunches are awful, rarely look edible, and often looks like it's going to eat you, rather than you, it. The teachers are decent, although many don't really care except for their paycheck - fair enough, it's a public high school. We got a new principal starting off 2012-2013, but not much has changed. The one thing at NRHS that actually stands out is the band, which has had a 'Superior' rating for years, as they make fifth through eighth grades go through it a band class at the middle school. During 2012, when Hurricane Sandy came along, our roof started falling down - literally. With no money in the budget and our levy failing, we now have ceiling panels missing. This school sends some of its students to the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, an outstanding technical school for those who wish to apply to it."

"i just started going to this school. It is a very good school. the students and teachers are nice. the 2 only problems i have with the school is they only give 5 mins between classes. i think 10 mins is good. cause my classes is everywhere in the school and my locker is far away and i don't want to worry about being late the other problem is the school is crowded . my counselor is very nice and sweet and willing to help me :) - Victoria Mohammad. well i prefer to be called tori."

"uhm the NRHS school is a very good school with very good teachers and staff, they have a great disciplinary system and have recently installed security cameras around the whole school with a buzzer system to get in. over 1400 students that have scored extremely high on the OATS and other tests."

"I have had a great experience with the North Royalton high school. My daughter just recently graduated and finds that some of her college classes are actually easier than that of high school. Great faculty! We do need an updated building, though."

"I think that north royalton high is a terrible school. It is very overcrowded and there is no level of security, not even any student hall monitors. It disturbs me that anyone could just walk right in. Another aspect of this school that bothers me is the student vocational prep program that they run. In eigth grade before entering high school, teachers and counelors single out low income students and troublemakers and convince them to enter a program where the kids do janitorial services and such and they earn a few dollars a week. This program is supposed to be for AT RISK students but it only discourages them and sets them up for a low income and low quailty future. And convieniently the standarized test scores for these students do not contribute to the average. This is a poorly operated school that doesn't deserve to be posted on this site."
