"Excellent school, small student teacher ratio, nice teachers, not treated like a number everyone knows you. However, the new pricipal Mary Lou leaves alot to be desired--cancelled Halloween, No Christmas or Valentines, cancelled end of year field day...to politically correct and destroying childrens fun. There are no extra-curricular activities, very boring for a small town. However I have 3 kids that have graduated one is at a small Jesuit College - Very competitive, One was accepted to a great private college and one is still in highschool. My youngest is in this school at present. So evidently it is a proficient school. However the principal is demoralizing the children. No more affiliation with the Red Cross. What will be next??? No vacations? No smiles? No Laughter? No Playground? She needs to shape up!"

"I have 2 children in this school and I must say that I LOVE it! The staff is so friendly. Everyone knows one another and your child is not just a number. They do a lot to keep parents involved. The class sizes are very small. From preschool to second grade I have never had more than 17 kids in my childs class and usually there is an aid of some sort as well. They always adress my childs needs prompltly. I would definitely recommend this school!"

"A nice small school where everyone knows everyone. Academic programs seem to be of average degree. Lack of after school programs(There aren't any)and lack of after school help if needed."

"We have a fantastic principal and great teachers. Due to our small size (@200 in K-6) kids get an intimate school where you are more than a number. Lacks in extracurricular activities. The town provides sports but that's it. No afterschool program and no gifted and talented program. Excellent staff for SPED and LD students."
