"alief and killough is all about academics but alief is better. i know so because every single year for the past few years, alief have won 1st place in academic plus which is a fun event for students who qualify to compete against other schools in different subject. Even though killough may have won 5-6 place this year the teachers are very strict on academics. - a student from olle middle school :D"

"Alief Middle School isn't the best middle school in the world, but the students and staff try extremely hard and put in a lot of effort to make it as close as possible. There are many students that don't care at all about their education, while there are others who are absolutely devoted. It's the choice of the students which group they choose to be with that effects the education they receive. The teachers are top notch, especially the Pre-Ap classes. They put in MORE than 110% of their effort to make all activities successful. The clubs in the school are very student-oriented and it allows us to speak our mind. Although the sports aren't top notch, we have a lot of school spirit. The extracurricular activities are taught by very warm-hearted people and aren't bad at all. Overall, Alief is the best middle school in the district."
