"My son was in their ECP (early childhood program) and has advanced to Pre-School thereafter. The school has a very close-family-like feel and the teachers that he has really care about their students. If I had to complain about anything, I think the Pre-School program is too demanding! My son is not yet 4 and already knows all his alphabets and can count up to 20 (even knows 1,00, 1,000, 100,000, and 1 million), He is also learnng how to write and can even write his own name. I thought they don't start 'learning' until Pre-K. What I like most about the school is that they make learning fun, so it's not like they are pounding on the students just so they know their alphabets and numbers. The teachers also incorporate learning into their world and activities so that everything they learn is relevant-- Very very good school."

"My son attended AES from PreSchool through 5th grade, and was well prepared in all aspects for Middle School. Highlights of AES include the small class sizes, music and art programs and twice-a-week chapel services. Since the school does not include a Middle School, the Fifth Grade provides a great opportunity for students to be the campus leaders."

"AES is a great school for preschool and prekindergarten. Our child learned immensely from the devoted teachers and administration. The small classes make for great individual attention. Our child was well prepared for kindergarten."

"My son was a straight A student at AES and he continues to be one in middle school. The small classes and the family like environment was a great benefit to him. Starting in pre-K and finishing in 5th grade he learned everything he needed to know in order to move on to any middle school. I will recommend AES to anyone and I'm looking forward to enrolling my daughter there as well."

"This school gave him confidence, care and taught him everything he needed to know to go to a good middle school. He was not an easy child and I loved the small classes, the fact that all the teachers knew all the children. He benefited from the buddy system where he could help children in other classes and boost his confidence in theatre and music. He learned to behave in church and be self disciplined. This school respects children and does not teach to the test, it teaches children to learn. It is small and kind of old fashioned in some ways...the ways that work. I have always recommended it to families coming to Houston from other States or abroad because it is such a caring community and very used to children from other countries. I felt at home and so did he. We stayed through fifth grade."
