"If I were to be given the option to choose this school or another school I would choose Challenge again. I love this school because they offer many opportunities. I have had an amazing experience at Challenge. The teachers have helped me in every possible way. Everyone is friendly and I love that Challenge has advisory which is similar to homeroom but in our case advisory is more about family time. We have Mondays to charge about our weekends, Tuesdays and Thursdays are used for Studying and helping each other out and Wednesdays are used to do activities that help us interact with one another. Our advisory's consist of a mixture of students from all four grade levels. Advisory is led by the seniors at Challenge which is a great idea because it helps us improve our leadership skills. This is unique because other schools might have homeroom but it is nothing compared to ours because each advisory has its own culture and every one is considered family. Challenge also gives the opportunity to take dual credit classes so that when students graduate from Challenge they would be graduating with both a Distinguished High School Diploma and an Associates Degree. This school is full of opportunities and people willing to help you make your experience amazing."

"I am a freshman, so I don't know all the teachers yet, but of the ninth grade ones they are overall adequate. - I enjoy the english class for the most part. The teacher goes very in depth with our class, although I cannot say for others, and, for the most part, tries to help kids on a personal level. One thing I do not like is that she has students grade as part of her workshops, which means that it can take like a month to get a grade back, which can get frustrating. Also, something I am 100% UNHAPPY WITH is that this teacher MAKES FUN OF AND BULLIES KIDS. People laugh and think its okay because she's a teacher and "joking", but is she? It really hurts sometimes. It has made me feel very uncomfortable. - The math teacher has a bathroom policy that I hate because it is unfair to basically make children pay to use the restroom (which is also against HISD school policy and I know my rights lady!). She also frequently messes up on quizzes, tests, and even her everyday lessons. I know she's a new teacher, but she has some shaping up to do. - The history teacher is very engaging with her lessons, but she has a bathroom policy too, which again, I feel is wildly inappropriate. - The science teacher is good for the most part and moves very fast in her lessons. She can act like a teenager or a drill sergeant."

"Challenge Early College High School has applicable and understanding teachers that help their students in every way possible. The teachers are very approachable and are always willing to take some of their time out of their class time in order to help their students. Most of the teachers have a direct way of teaching. They try to make it as simple as possible in order to prevent confusion. If the teachers notice that students are having a hard time in their class the teachers will have one on one conversations in order to understand and focus on the students hardship. The staff is great and very friendly. Most of the teachers have advanced degrees since the school offers dual credit classes and Advance Placement classes."
