"Kids are out of control at this school!! Discipline is a big problem. The principals do nothing to address the problems except ignore the issues. The principal is unapproachable, and is never visible except in the front office. What little parental involvement there was, is quickly diminishing. This place is going to the dumps! Not a good school."

"There is not enough parent involvement at this school for the discipline to be handled properly. There is only so much that the teachers and administrators can do legally to insure students are disciplined. The teachers are dedicated but if parents can't control their children at home and teach them there are consequences for how they act at school, then how are teachers supposed to control their students and teach them what they need to know to be successful in school? Parents you are your child's first teacher. Don't have children if you can't teach them how to behave."

"Dunn has very dedicated teachers, but the discipline in the school is not what it should be. I feel sorry for all the students who do abide by the rules as they go unnoticed and unrecognized due to the amount of discipline issues that I have witnessed when I have visited."

"Principal does not return phone calls.. Called reguarding many problems. Doesn't seem to care much for parents concerns."

"I find Dunn Elem. to be one of the most outstanding schools in Aldine. The teachers always put the needs of the student first. The Principal (Debbie Conroy) is dedicated to the needs of all students. She has a way of making the students feel that there is nothing they can not do if you try your best. Her and the 2 assistant Principals (Cheryl Davis & Terrie Sanchez are work as a well oiled machine. They do a little of everything that needs to be done. The Teachers and support staff work hand in hand to insure that all students succeed."
