"I am very impressed with this school. I was very hesitant of putting my kindergardner there and have been proved wrong! The teachers I have dealt with have been the most helpful, loving and personable teachers I have ever met! The academics are average and are kept at a good pace. They're after school program is great as well... full of lots of extra curricular and fun activities! I am happy to send my daughter to this school daily!"

"Before my kids were in this district I've always heard good things about it, but I do not agree at all. The teachers seem like drones in a world where they are taught to act the same, respond the same and perfom the same. They single kids out and dont take the time with them that they need. What happened to field trips and parent visits. They say you'll interrupt the class but I like to see how the teachers respond to class. I'll be glad when this school year is over."

"While there are many great teachers at this school, the current administration does not make the school a good learning environment. If you have the option to go elsewhere, I strongly urge you to do so. Yyour child's education is so important that you should take the time and do your research."

"The building is modern, clean, well maintained & equipped. The principal is friendly and approachable, yet a strong leader. The teachers are effective and have a positive, team player attitude. Parent involvement is strong, I have actually been turned down for some volunteer positions because of the high number of parents already volunteering. Lots of extracurricular activities during school hours, but not many after hours. I have been very pleased with the progress that my daughter has made at this school during her kindergarten and first grade years. She has had classes in music, art, computers and science. She also takes part in speech therapy as well as the PEP program for gifted students. She seems to really enjoy attending Cummings and has liked all of her instructors."
