"Many of the teachers at Cypress Woods High School are wonderful teachers, especially the math teachers. They know what they are doing, and they help you if they need help. For the phsyics teachers, they are not as good as others. A lot of students say Physics is the hardest class, but its only hard because there are no good teachers teaching it. For example, my Physics teacher would go next door and talk to the other teacher for about 15-30minutes of class, leaving only 15 minutes to teach. But there is no need to let the physics teachers ruin the rep of the rest of cy woods teachers, especially the fine arts teachers. I have been in choir for all 4 years, and being with the choir teachers is amazing. They truly care about each and one of their students, and I am so happy I got to be a part of their class."

"Cypress Woods high school definitely the best high school i have ever been to. The energy there is amazing. The school has so much spirit, and the Pep rallys are incredible. Cypress woods won the best student section this past year for our football games, so that shows how much school spirit we have. Being at Cy Woods has honestly boosted my confidence, and I can definitely say I would choose this highschool over any other one in a heartbeat."

"There was always something going on. Even in the mornings the school would have a bake sale or a java sell by the schools culinary arts class. Or there would be a pep rally for which ever team. I liked how the school spirit was always up. We use to chant 212 an World domination . I would've loved to do it again because there so much you can do there. So many paths of opportunity."

"There are really great things about this school, like the spirit of the student body. My favorite memory is when we threw baby powder at the homecoming game! There are downsides to Cy-Woods though. For instance, there are a lot of mean girl types and if you aren't into attending the football games then you're not cool."

"Attending Cypress Woods High School has been an interesting experience. Its competitive aspect has challenged me in my studies, which I have appreciated, but there are far too many undeserving students who cheat their way to the top off of students who study hard and give their best efforts. Most of the teachers and administration have personal relationships exclusively with popular students, and the cliques in this school are rock solid. It truly takes a lot of hard work to find friends within the student body which is mostly composed of self-entitled drug addicts who think that their family's wealth makes them above others in the school. If I had a dollar for every time I have had someone only speak to me when they needed help with something, I could pay my way through undergraduate school. However, I know that the few gems I have found in high school will continue to be my close friends for the rest of my life. I do feel that the intensity of the courses has properly prepared me for college and that I was pushed to grow intellectually here, but the social aspect only seems desirable if you are considered an alpha. For a quiet, smart girl like myself, I was on the outside looking in. That didn't stop me from having fun, however. Some of the events of Cy Woods' clubs and organizations are amazing. The Orchestra banquet is always kind of like a second homecoming and the yearly Mr. Cy Woods pageant is always a laugh. Overall, I have a neutral view since most of what I am saying is subjective-this is an amazing school regarding academic rigor and extracurriculars, but its social aspect was subpar."
