"Academic programs are excellent. There are a variety that are being utilized. The school currently has an orchestra class, drummers, dance troupe, well equipped art program, mad science program, fencing, step program, and praise dancing. Parents support is at 90%."

"I found the adcademic program to be very poor, it does not meet the needs of children the reside in the district. There is surpose to be a program for children with ADH/ADD in place. As, of yet is as not been impletmented, due to the lack of education of the staff. It's not just this scool but the entire district. This is one of the reasons why oour children are so far behind the other districts such as HISD, ALDINE. The parents are not made to feel welcome when visiting the campus, and when a parent has a concern about their child(ren),then the staff becomes very defensive, and makes up all kinds of excuses why the child is not passing, such as they are always being disruptive, or not paying attention in class."
