"Lamkin has been around a long time. It still runs with respect leadership morales and dignity. Mrs. Parker is a wonderful principal. Ima blessed to have my Grandson go there. This will be his last year. Thank you Lamkin for making my Grandson a A and B Student. Love to all of you at Lamkin."

"Lamkin elementary is a truly fantastic school. We moved here from Oklahoma after the Thanksgiving holidays. At first I did no what to except of the schools here in Cypress, and did even know what open concept was. And on my son first day of school the teachers and staff treated him like he was part of the Leopards family. He told me Lamkin Rocks. The teachers are wonderful at providing quality academic curriculum and programs. The principal is a wonderful lady with always a friendly smile. Teachers and staff are very caring they go above and beyond to help the students and parents. Mrs Molnoskey and Mrs Montano are excellent teachers they are the best. But so are all the other teachers. This was our last year , but it is a truly wonderful school for your kids."

"I understand the frustration in moving classrooms but trust me, Lamkin is doing it for the sake of the children. Open concept is hard for some kids and when you get more than 20 kids in a class, it makes it even worse. Lamkin took care of this situation by hiring more teachers to make the classrooms smaller. I think you have to be VERY involved with your child's education as well as being up front and open about your frustrations with the administration in order to feel like something is being accomplished. Speak your mind. Nobody knows if no one ever says anything. My child is in his 3rd year at Lamkin and he loves it. I will continue to support him as well as his teachers and all the teachers. They are the future for our kids. Let's help them in any way we can."

"My daughter is in the 4th grade at Lamkin. She has changed homeroom twice in one school year because of over-crowding. Needless to say she will not be attending Lamkin again next year. Yes there are a few good teachers so you better pray your child receive one of those teachers, if not you are set your child up for failure. Most of the teacher are horrible."
