"I love this school! It has a modern-flair (with young, vibrant, energetic and creative teachers); yet, traditional (with disciplined and structured learning environments). "My daughter went to this school for 3 years and I was very pleased. She was initially enrolled in private school and I took her out. So, I was very pleased with the transition from private to public."

"This schooll is,I would say, not a school that you find too often. They maintain a high degree of discipline in order that other students may recieve the highest quality of education they can receive. The teachers are vey dedicated to their work. There are some sports teams and as far as I know they are fair. If your child is interested in choir there is a music program set up as an ancillary and it is very devoted to its students, also it maintainns an energetic status. Parental involvement is fair, I don't know much of it, but the school holds PTO meetings very frequently. On a scale of 1-10 I would say this school is a 10!"

"I have sincerely appreciated the determined spirit and efforts of the teachers at Lockhart. The administrative team ensures that 'teaching is taking place'. My children have had a pleasant educational experience thus far. Lockhart is doing a great job in H.I.S.D.'s South Central Administrative District!"
