    "My child has been going there for three years and will be starting her fourth year there. We have never had any problems and when we transferred there three years ago and got the help my child needed. As far as staff is comcerned the only problem I have had is with the attendance lady. She is rude and unfriendly when you do actually talk to her. I have also heard this from other parents. I wouldn't put my child in another school district."

    "Three of my children went here for 6 years. The school has gone downhill and fast. They got a new Principal a couple of years ago and the good teachers and counselor left that next summer. I agree with the previous comment about ISS. My child was in ISS most of the time, just because he felt safer! Everyone knew and didn't care to do anything about it. Don't even bother talking to the staff. They simply don't care. The police are a constant fixture as well. The environment promotes a feeling of Hostility not only with the student but with the parents. We move out of the district a little over a year ago and I can say it is the best thing we ever did. No more fear! No more a prisoner. Success is not mayde at the creek!"

    "My children have always loved Mayde Creek. we did go through some big changes when we changed Prinipals, but the students have adjusted and doing well. Each grade level has Field Trips which the children really enjoy. The Teachers are friendly and very concerned over each child. My children feel like they are not only students but extended family. Great volunteers that have been there for years and school encourages parental involvement which is a huge plus. Katy ISD has some great schools!"

    "My child has gone there for half a year we had to change school's because of the behavior problems. Children were in ISS and Detenion everyday. They got the whole class in trouble. Children were back talking to the teachers, getting in fights, and bringing weapons to school.The principal is not very involved.There are barley any extra circulars. I would never go back to this school. I do not reccomend you to send your child to this school."

    "School is not receptive to moving a child up from 1st grade because of late birthday even though 1st grade was completed at a private school. Very difficult to deal with."
