"I absolutely love this school. I have an older child that went through school in Pennsylvania and this school surpasses any of the schools my older child has gone through. The teacher my son has had this year is phenomenal. She has qualities I have not seen in a teacher for a long long time. She truly cares about her students. You can see it by the way she is with each and every student. My son is in pre-k this year and I hate to see him go to Kindergarten next year where he won't have the same teacher. I know teachers change every year but I would love to have had Mrs. Erickson as a teacher for both my children. She is awesome."

"Most of the teachers are very dedicated to their students. Too bad, the school's administration is less so - or rather is dedicated to a certain segment of students and the others are ignored. We've spent 4 years at this school and will be moving to NOT send our younger child here. The PTA is actively involved but is a puppet for the financial needs of the administration. Bonus, the school is a regional auditory learning center so that's great for filling that need. It does teach the kids diversity."

"I commend MPE teachers as a hardworking and dedicated staff putting long hours of personal time making the school a positive learning experience. School administrators that place little value on experience thwart their efforts. Many of the most experienced teachers fled the school in order to escape an atmosphere of constant change and searching. Each year days of valuable preparation time are lost due to meaningless meetings and shuffling of classrooms. New curriculums drawing from faddish trends instead of reliance on proven success are adopted and then scrapped in favor of yet newer fads. Basic skills such as spelling, reading, and math are crammed into rigid schedules that allow little flexibility in meeting individual student needs. Special remedial programs are adopted to address the skill shortcomings, only to have the programs staffed by teachers with little classroom experience. I view a downward spiral until changes are made at the top."

"Poor teacher relationships with ALL students. Teachers show favoritism."
