"My son is a black male student who was not understood by the school teachers. Since minimum parental involvement was had with the school my son did not learn as much as he could have. The teacher did not understand how to deal with my son therefore this school did not work for us."

"As with most AISD schools, this school has high academic standard. There is strict focus on academic excellence while leaving room for extracurricular activities such as sports, music, healthy competitions, etc. Parents, teachers and students form a triad that ensures the full involvement of families in the students academic pursuits."
