"I attended this school as a little girl. After nursing school i wld love to move closer so my kids can attend. This is a great school and i hated when my parents, decide to move to Louisiana. Thank Miranda Edwards-Malveaux"

"First of all Private schools are expensive trust me i know. Second of all if parents don't ike something about the school they NEED to be involved with the PTO. That is how their voice would heard. Last but not least YES it starts off with parents teaching their children at home. As a parent we can not expect teachers to teach our children everything. As parents we can't just sit back and do nothing have to take a stand and be willing to put in our part of intrest in our childrens life. We need to show our children that education is the key to have a brighter future. So even if our kids are stuck here in this school district it is up to us to be involved in their education just as it is for the teachers to be."

"I would like to say Mitchell Es is a great school. We work very hard each and every day. If you do not like the school, my question to you is...why don't you go to a private school if you think that would be better for your children? If you do no like something, you need to come to the PTO meetings and speak up there not in this forum. The teachers here are highly qualified. Homework is an essential part of learning. Watching hours and hours of tv does not help a child succeed. So before you start to blame teachers you need to evaluate what you are doing at home to help your kids..YOU ARE YOUR CHILDS FIRST TEACHER!!!!!!!!!"

"the teachers has to be more qualify and the system has to be upgrade, is no posible the childrens spend 7 or 8 hours at school and 2or 3 hours at home doing home work and still they are not good . we need to teach or concentreate what is important, Poor coutris with less resoources has better students."

"I agree, this school is terrible. No after school programs, the teachers that my son has had for the past 3 years have never really been involved with him and his work. There are absolutely no field trips and I believe that sometimes children need them for hands on learning, they can't always learn something from just reading about it. I can't stand this school, and like the other, the only reason why my son goes to this school is because he's zoned to this school, he has no other choice."
