"This is our 1st year at Outley, both of my children are attending this school. I'm pleased with the 2nd grd curriculum and the great teachers. The 4rth grd needs more care, the school should also care about their none AIMS student. Coming from a private school bck ground , I think the tone that the teachers use with the older kids can be brought down a little and they should use some kinder words."

"My daughter is a student at Outley. I was happy for the most part with the school. My daughter loved her classmates and teachers, and it costs only $0.75 for breakfast and lunch combined. One thing that concerns me is the fact that my daughter would go 1-2 days each week without PE or recess. The kids need to be taught the importance of daily physical activity, and I understand that it can be so hot outside somedays for recess, but they at least need to go to PE daily. They are obviously focusing on academics because Alief is a lower rated school district, but I wonder, in the end, how these students will rank as far as obesity and other weight related problems later in life."

"My son attended the much sought after AIMS program. As a teacher myself, I was extremely pleased of his teacher Ms. Morgan. She set high standards, gave challenging projects and homework. My son was definately an active learner in her class. Best school in Alief. The after school program was extremely well run by the YMCA coordinator. Kids were busy with activities after completeing their homework."

"I'm not satisfied with the teachers performance. My child needs extra help and I'm not seeing the teachers making an effort to make sure the curriculum is understood. They have no system set up to assist those kids you are slower learners."

"This is an excellent school. My child is in the AIMS gifted program and I must say that her mind is challenged every day at this institution. She use to come home complaining about the work being too easy, but not anymore."
