"It is better for students to have longer academic classes with good lectures and student involvement."

"I would chose this school again if I could do it all over because it provides a friendly environment where everyone is accepted, it provides strong academic and arts education. It is unique because it provides a balance between the two, so that no matter if you want to be an artist or not, you can still have plenty of options available for you."

"The opportunity to explore art without sacrificing anything in academics (except for PE (; )"

"Since our school is a performing arts school, we have four hours of our own art area and four hours of academics. Our art area teachers understand that we have responsibilities towards our academics, and our academic teachers understand that we have to work and practice for our art area. Having two very big responsibilities in high school teaches the students to manage their time and work load very well, and this also prepares us for college. Right now, I am a freshman in college and I feel that my first semester went by very smoothly thanks to how my high school taught me how to stay organized with my time and work. The teachers are very understand and communicate with us well when it comes to grades, tutoring, ways of teaching, etc. They strive to teach us in the best way possible and makes sure that everyone in the classroom is on the same page."

"Although we are known for our performing arts programs, our teachers want the students to also be well rounded in the academics to prepare us for college and our possible future career. Pre-AP, Regular, and AP classes are available in almost every subject so students can choose a pace that better suits them. Students are told what the workload will be for each class before choosing so that they can prepare and organize their time according to what art area they are in."
