"I like the school, overall. Most of the guidelines for the students are good, and the teachers are great. The attention to the different extracurricular programs, however, are not balanced. Much of the funding is geared towards main athletics, which overshadows some of the other programs: fine arts, robotics and technology, the student campus ministry team. The technological aspect of this school is also lacking a little. Starting in 8th grade, students are issued personal laptops, which seems like a great tool for them and it is, but the quality of the laptops is not so great, some have issues, and there are a blanket of restrictions, some of which block academic sites. The technology is an awesome idea, but they still need to work out the kinks. One great thing about the school is its dedication; the school spirit can be tangible. Another thing is the spiritual aspect. One of my favorite teachers is the main bible teacher, everyone calls him Coach Hawley. He is such a great teacher and keeps his class engaged. His style is unique and his leadership in the school is evident in the way that he greets every student. This school is a Christian school: there is chapel twice a week and a bible class is mandatory for all grades, at least the ones that I have been in. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I might make some personal changes, but I would choose this school."

"The teachers at Westbury Christian are overall very good at what they do and are amiable towards the students. Like all schools, there are a few exceptions, and as I know certain teachers from my classes, I do not know whether or not some of them are good teachers. As far as the teachers that have taught me over the past 4 years that I have attended this school, most of them were great teachers; with engaging lessons about knowledgeable subjects, they did not fail to fully explain what they were teaching. One of the teachers that I had, however was not as assertive in their teaching strategies; they seeming lack of authority and teaching structure in one of the classes made that teacher and the material they were trying to teach not as easy to understand. This is only one specific circumstance. The majority of the teachers are great."

"The teachers at this school show interest in the students at certain points in time. Some of the teachers gossip about the children to one another and try to persuade other children to find better friends or to not engage in activities with certain people. The teachers are very loving and try to show they care. The athletics at the school are very important. The games are fun and very competitive, students and their coaches are very close and trusting of one another. The students in general are like any other school, diverse, fun, gossipy, loving, very close, not too much conflict. Its an ok school environment."

"The school in general is very messy but the people inside make things a little better but the teachers are very iffy and can be rude and disrespectful. They also can be very sarcastic and treat you very wrong or listen and actually show they care. We have minor problems with the air conditioning system. Half of the school could be hot and the other half freezing cold. WE sometimes have leaky ceiling problems and the draining system isn't that good. The restrooms flood a lot and a toilets overflow."

"This school was at best mediocre. Others found it enjoyable, I was not one of them. The only way to fit in is to be a smoker or a basketball/footballer. No other sports matters. Almost any other non-sports extracurricular did not exist. The community has its own logic and way of functioning most evident in those who had been there since childhood. Many of the kids were those kicked out of other schools for bullying only to become bullies themselves in this small fishbowl of the school. Many of the well liked kids that were well known and respected were only that way because of the massive nepotistic network that is the faculty all enroll their children there. The school is very unaccepting of anyone out side their specific niche of human and continues this cycle by funneling many of thier kids to Harding University (A larger version of this school in the middle of nowhere) where many of them return as teachers and enroll their spawn to become tiny versions of themselves. There was no school spirit, and hundreds of attempts by faculty and staff to talk up the school and call it unique when they have little if anything to offer their students or humanity in any form."
