"Westside is a good and simple magnet schools with a variety of different programs for students to study what they like, maybe not as specifically as other schools, but definitely somewhat specific. I love the community of Westside and the location is very convenient and comfortable in my opinion."

"There are a lot of pathways that can treat you right at westside. Lots of different activities and opportunities for success, but you must have your own motivation in order to achieve things here. It is easy to get mixed in with the wrong crowds and it is easy to begin heading into a downward spiral. The majority of the learning is geared towards passing a test, and not genuine knowledge, but of course this can be expected. I did not have a bad experience at this school and I got into the exact university I wanted to attend, but sadly my experience is not frequently reciprocated within other students. If you are a person geared towards their own personal success you can do great things here. Especially if you are interested in Engineering, or Medical fields, but if you rely on the motivations of teachers, parents, and other people to tell you what you need to do to succeed, this is not the establishment for your overall success."

"This school is very big. There are a lot of teachers because of this and each teacher is involved with every student. The only thing I would like to see change is the dress code."

"WestSide high school has one of the most diverse population that I have ever seen. While attending Westside I met people from many different countries around the world, I was able to learn about the culture and experienced many new things. On the academic side, Westside high school was several amazing teachers that put so much work in order to make their students succeed, the amount of AP classes that they offer is amazing, The school also has several programs that each student has to join, these programs allow students to have classes that match their career path. Westside High school has a very wise amount of clubs and activities all through out the school, each unique in their own way. Westside High school is an amazing school that offers so much and provides a very unique experience for each student."

"The teachers are very concerned about the students. The workload isn't bad at all if you know how to manage time well. A few teachers could improve their teaching skills, because some are unorganized and often rely on the students to maintain their workload."
