    "Ed White Elementary School allows for student and teacher creativity to maximize learning. It's an amazing inner city public school for its students, faculty, the neighborhood, and Texas (rated by the Texas Education Agency as 'exemplary'). Just as Astronaut Ed White made the ultimate commitment to the space program, students and staff strive daily to be the best they can be. When visitors walk into the front doors of the school, they say they can feel the positive energy. Fortunately, students and staff thrive in this positive academic environment. It is a privilege to be a part of this team, and I do not take this opportunity for granted."
