"There's an art class in our school, I took it during my sophomore year. I personally did not like it, because there wasn't much variety to learn or do projects about due to low budget. Every day was always something dull and predictable to do and the teacher was boring and so strict making us learn his own way of preference with drawing and coloring. Now as a junior I don't take art, but I know very well from a couple of friends that they don't like that class."

"Our curricula goes past the Texas requirements. We get to go in depth about what we learn and learn how it applies to our lives."

"Yes prep includes everything that is needing to graduate, only. We don't have other classes aside from the 4 required classes to graduate and the typical P.E class and arts. We do have long school days that take out too much time of students joining any clubs outside of school or even working. Teachers tend to express its the length of the class time that make up our long school days and try to make us students understands their reasoning but honestly after 7 years of doing the same thing, you adjust."

"Teachers are alright, sometimes boring, but alright. Seniors were basically forced into taking whichever classes are being offered. I find that quite unfair behave it makes me feel like some lab rat or something."

"Our school treats the middle school very differently from when I was in middle school, I've noticed they take them less seriously. For example, we have a system named Rise, when a student makes 5 mistakes they are to serve rise until they have enough points to get out, isolated from everyone else, and when getting out we had to write a letter and present it in class. Now middle school serve rise in our Monday school uniform yet they are able to speak and be involved with their classmates and don't need to write an apology letter. As West's first senior class in my opinion we are still treated as kids and expected to act as adults, and we are not being prepared for college due to always hand holding us."
