"I am a parent of three who attend Notre Dame. We have been with the school for the past ten years and have another seven to go. (My youngest is now in first grade. My oldest is in eighth grade.) Notre Dame has provided a sound Catholic foundation as well as a superior education. My children have friends in local public schools and the depth of my children's knowledge is readily apparent. It is also a safe environment which is something I value for my children."

"I am a parent of two students at Notre Dame Catholic School. I toured every private school in Hernando County before my husband and I decided on Notre Dame. The preschool (EC) program is a great balance of learning, play and faith with the most wonderful teachers. The teachers make the transition into school so easy on both the child and the parent. The small classes and curriculum as well as the encouragement of parent involvement make this the perfect school for our family."

"When deciding on which school to send our child, we visited all of the Catholic schools in the area (Pasco, Hernando & Citrus counties) and were most impressed with Notre Dame. Our child started at Notre Dame in the EC (Pre-K) program and we could not have asked for better teachers to introduce our child to the school environment! We love Notre Dame and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-community oriented school with smaller class sizes and teachers who care for your child(ren) as if they were their own child."

"We moved here in 2006, attended public school one year, not great, toured Notre Dame.My then 5th grader told us she definitely wanted to attend. I knew that if my child had a certain comfort level right away, then this was something to consider. We knew our decision as soon as we met the prinicipal & teachers. That daughter is now in 8th grade, an outstanding student, and my 4th grader, also doing wonderfully, both of them really love going to school everyday. The curriculum with Spanish and physical education in a real gym twice a week, are only part of the good assets here. The coach loves her job & kids, safety is no question, and the teachers are very responsive any time you have a concern. If you have not visited, you should. The school is a family you cannot replace and the children are well-prepared for HS."

"My 2 daughters have been attending Notre Dame for the past six years. They love the smaller class size and the individual attention they receive from the remarkable teachers. There are many 'specials' offered like Spanish, Music, Computers, Physical Education and Sports. Notre Dame is a very close knit family and I would not put my children anywhere else."
