"My overall experiences at MacArthur Senior High School so far is leaning alil over neutral to negative. The reason I say this is because the school focuses more on policies rather than the students education. To elaborate, the administrators are willing to let a student miss a whole week of learning over a simple dresscode issues when at colleges there are not even told what to wear. However, despite the lack of concern from adminstrations the teachers compensate with going above and beyond to meet students needs and intrest."

"This school offers great educational opportunities. My experience of being in Clinical's was awesome as I got to shadow doctor's and nurses. Also, I am taking advantage of the college credit classes that students can take and which a bus takes us to the college to go to class. The school also has free breakfast and lunch which is great for us low income families. I would choose this school all over again if I could."

"AP teachers are the only ones who really prepare you for what's coming after graduation. Teacher's who teach regular classes don't put much effort as an AP teacher does."

"The academics are fair. The scheduling process happens between the student and their counselor, so the student can choose while the counselor can recommend any classes. The school offers great AP courses in foreign languages, English, math, social studies, and science. It can be overwhelming for a student that takes all AP classes, but most students take regular, so they don't receive as much homework."

"The teachers at my school, MacArthur Senior High School are great teachers that are limited at creativity due to the vast number of rules preventing them to work at full blast. Most of the teacher are well trained at the subject they educate students in. The interest in the students are at a pretty good standard, but could be better. They are well spoken when it comes to actually talking to the students about topics in class as well as understanding issues outside. The grading can use a tweaking at with the students constently wanting to kow there grades to improve there averages."
