"The teachers at the school provide students with the necessary tools for academic success as well as out-of-classroom assistance. Some of the more popular classes at the school are AP Calculus and HOPE."

"Administration can be a pain, the students here could be nicer, there is too much traffic when walking from class to class, but the teachers here are friendly if you get to know them"

"My experience at this school was not bad at all. i have went through some up and downs but i have always had people by my side such as students, staff members , teachers, and people i barely even knew. Starting off high school was great i met so many people and such new faces but as the year went i seen also a lot of students not at school anymore. My sophomore year i met even more new faces but those new faces became very close to me. This was the year me and my friend had became best friends. As the year went on i seen a lot of the faces that had left have came back. Junior year was most of all my hardest year of all. I was battling with the FCAT so much just so that i can have the senior classes i wanted next year and also all the senior privileges, i also wanted to pass so i was for sure that i new i was going to graduate. Then my year crashed. My best friend has passed away from getting hit by a train. After that my mind just shut down but i had no other choice to keep on going in school if i wanted to succeed, so i did as i could and kept on going with education and pushing my self. Senior year came flying around the corner! I just didn't know what to do with my self because i still needed to pass the FCAT. It became my main focus since that was the only thing i needed to graduate. I was helped by many people. My teachers , guidance and also my ESE coordinator. We worked until i passed my ACT. Passing was such a relive but getting help from others, was very great full."

"The two main reasons I would choose this school again are because of the classmates I have become friends with and because this school has a swimming/water polo team. I do have negative feelings toward this school because of the staff, appearance, and peers. The staff can be disrespectful and misunderstanding at various times, and I do not appreciate the way the staff has talked down to the students. I am disgusted at the trash that accumulates on the school ground and the broken down parts of the school that need repair. Our school was founded around the early 1920's and could use a few upgrades. I and others also have problems with the restroom, because most of the time there are no paper towels or toilet paper installed. Some of the stall doors do not lock because they are broken, and there are times when there is no soap. As far as my peers, they are rude and not of good influence. They routinely walk on and off campus whenever they'd like, do not take learning serious, and talk in a distasteful manner that makes me wonder what their upbringing was like. The school has even allowed such behavior go as far as having rap battles on Fridays that includes vulgar language and phrases. Other schools look at us like we are a joke."
