"We are very favorably impressed and happy with the initiative and interest shown by counselor, principal, and teachers in working together in effort to help our adopted Haitian daughter succeed who did not know English when she came to live with us 3 years ago."

"No words can express how disappointed I have been with this school! In addition, I did a rating comparison of the middle/junior high schools within Idaho Falls. Sandcreek rated terribly in scores. I am trying at this juncture to move my child from this school district. My husband had a 'team meeting' with all of my son's teachers before this school year, and they seemed to be alarmed at the lack of teacher-parent contact we had received over the prior two years ~ what an act that turned out to be! Even when the new V-Principal knew about such disregard in contacting us, he was very dissappointed, and said he would do something to change that. Not one teacher has called reporting a failing grade (he has 4), nor reported numerous missing homework assignments, muchless in a row! Do they realize he has parents? Dad is a teacher in District #91."

"I was very pleased with the overall performance of Sandcreek. We moved our daughter, who had displayed a lack of initiative during the previous 2 years, to Sandcreek for her 8th grade year. By the end of 8th grade she has determined the value of her education and has even taken it upon herself to register for 3 honors classes during her Freshman year at neighboring Hillcrest High School. The school's ability and willingness to keep us in the loop as problems developed really added to our ability as parents to keep those problems from getting out of control. The committment of several teachers was instrumental in our daughter's re-prioritization of her goals. Like many parents, I'm deeply concerned about the apparent lack of quality in public education, however I'm pleased with Sandcreek and regret not moving my daughter there sooner."
