"The staff at this school is excellent. The gifted programs aren't as extensive as other states. In 3rd and 4th Grade (it's only a K-4) school, they will pull the kids out if there are 12 or more that qualify. Older building, but well maintained. No A/C is a drag in summer. There is a very active PTA at this school with many wonderful programs. Most, though, are social in nature. However, there are a few academic programs that they sponser. The cafeteria provides a healthy, hot lunch with 3 choices daily for the main entree. Usually along the lines of grilled cheese, nuggets, hot dogs, and pizza. My children attended all grade levels at this school, and I was very pleased with the experience. Never had a teacher we didn't like."

"My son is in 4th grade and loves it. He is a gifted student and loves the challenging but fun teachers. The staff are excellent from the front office on down and they are very focused on the children. After living on both the east and west coasts before, we find this to be an excellent school and would recommend living here to anyone with kids."
