"I am a graduate of South Side High School. I can truly say it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It was because of the love and dedication of the teachers that made me go to college. I graduated from a prestigious college and found my first full-time job within a week of graduation. Thanks South Side."

"I am a student at South Side and would tell anyone to join this school. Sure we have the ocational fight, but you can't control everyone, and anyone who starts trouble is punished. This has been my experience. I'm in the band at South Side and I love that too. Many of our students try out for honor bands and quite a few have been accepted this year. Parents - South Side really is a very fun school. If you decide to send your kids here, I'm sure they may have trouble with the trauma of switching schools, but the will adjust, and they will be befriended."

"My 2 daughters have loved being at SSHS. They are involved in cheerleading, art club, theatre, and the theatre club. The quality of education is above average and the teachers really care about the teens. WE LOVE SSHS!!!"

"I believe this is one of the worst High Schools in our district. The principals at Southside have not the first clue as to what their jobs are. They overlook bullies by pretending they don't see it happening. This is at the expense of the children being bullied. Because of this type of situation, the students being bullied are having to ignore their education to concentrate on their own safety. This needs to be looked into. These bullied children are not 'being left behind' they are being 'left alone' and this is wrong."
