"THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST CHOICE IN A SCHOOL THAT WE COULD HAVE MADE. THE TEACHERS ARE PHENOMINAL. THE STUDENTS ARE IN SUCH A CARING AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT I CAN'T COMPARE IT TO ANY OTHER SCHOOL. THE ENTIRE STUDENT BODY IS INVOLVED IN MANY ACTIVITIES AND PRODUCTIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AS A TEAM. SO THAT ALL AGES ARE LEARNING TOGETHER. THE CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT MAKES THIS SCHOOL A SAFE AND PEACEFUL PLACE FOR ALL OUR CHILDREN TO LEARN,"

"Our almost 5 year old son has attended pre-school for the past two years at HCA. Even though our town has a strong public elementary school system, we have decided to keep him in HCA as he enters kindergarten next year. They have excellent, caring teachers and a curriculum that reinforces a Christian world-view in age appropriate ways. Very much worth the up-front investment in our son's education."

"All three of my children went to school at HCA, 2 have graduated and one has 2 more years. The method of teaching children at HCA is unsurpassed. They have so much hands on activity that their retention of knowledge is amazing. Children learn through experience and that what HCA gives them---experience. The Christian values taught by the staff coupled with the smaller class sizes, creates a safe and loving atmosphere. My children who graduated from HCA went on to a public high school and were so ready to face the world and stand firm with their strong morals learned at HCA and reinforced at home. My kids were amazed at how smart they felt knowing so much more than other kids about the material that they were supposed to be learning in high school. Their self esteem is very high and I give that credit to HCA."

"Three years ago we hit the proverbial wall with the situation of my oldest son in fifth grade. He was in a very bad place hating school and lacking confidence academically. God led us to boldly make a change and enroll our three boys in Holden Christian Academy 4/2006. The HCA "family" welcomed our boys with open arms and we all experienced the loved of God immediately, The belief that each child is special and gifted is evident in the way children are taught, disciplined and ultimately encouraged. The curriculum is demanding for teachers to create as it embraces multiple learning styles and demands hands-on learning as well. The principal, teachers, parents working part time and volunteers all challenge the kids to work hard, be kind and encourage others. To drop off my children daily at a school that is safe and loves and challenges my children is truly a blessing."

"I am so glad to have HCA as a school for my daughter. I love the thematic curriculum -- this year, Cultures in Context -- which carries through all of the different subjects, making meaningful connections between areas usually taught in isolation. My parents, who were skeptical about the strength of academics in a Christian school, have been blown away by my daughter's knowledge and understanding of history, science, reading, and math in kindergarten and first grade. All of the HCA students I know who have graduated have done extremely well at both public and private high school and college. I am thrilled with my daughter's education. (Love being involved in the school as a parent, too.)"
