"I can not understand how this school received a 9 out of 10 stars. As a parent of a child at Mountview, I would say 1 star might even be to much. The teachers are very difficult to work with (no feedback and defensive tactics). I think the administration is better but the teachers are with your child for more hours so having helpful administration does not do much to help."

"These ratings reflect parents or students overall experience with the school s teachers. Among other things, great teachers: Teachers barely talk to parents about the children's progress. Sometimes they take a defensive attitude when parents request some information. In some of the teachers I have not seen any effort to help kids in class. As today there is a teacher that has not setup yet the office hours, so parents or children could talk to them. My teacher-parent meeting email request has been rejected twice. This rejection make me feel as being rejected because of being inmigrant and my pronounce accent when I talk English. The principal is trying to help, but I do not think that some of the faculty is being supportive. Once I heard that a good school is compoase of excellent teachers and parents working as a team. Some of the teachers seem not to like to work in a team."

"Administration does not seem dedicated. Every answer I receive is "Teachers are not required to do this". Some teachers are good. Website stresses sports but not academics. Academics should come first!! Sports is an extra!"

"Excuse me? Mountview is not impressive at all. I suppose if you have a perfect child that doesn't need supervision then everything is perfect. The new principal seems to be a little better so far, "a little".There is no decent accountability. The assistant vice principal is horrible. When children struggle he looks for excuses, no ownership. Suggestions are made lie, how about we have the doctor evaluate them? or how about medication? I wouldn't mind except thy have not done thier part. How about effort on behalf of the school, how about follow up, how about teachers that care, how about we stop the punch clock attitude and care about the kids that enter our school? How about doing your job before even thinking about turning the kids into walking zombies on meds. There's no excuse, the public school systems get paid very well per child, private schools can be cheaper."

"Excuse me? Someone's got it all wrong. Mountview Middle School is an amazing school, starting with its wondeful students. How do you know what Mountview is like if you've never been? I, on the other hand, have personally experienced Mountview and find it quite enjoyable. Stop spreading lies!"
