"The teachers at Taft High School did not care. The classroom would be disruptive and teachers would mostly allow it. This made it hard to learn and concentrate. Some teachers were kind of strict and the class would have a little bit of order in it. As well the teachers would give up on students and would not push them to do better. In my eyes the teachers only cared about getting paid, and not giving the students an education. Overall I give the teachers at this school a bad rating."

"Some teachers are fully engaged in helping to prepare the students for college; whereas, some use technology too much for their classroom. It makes it too hard to focus on the actual knowledge and learn; however, because I take harder level classes, most of my teachers fully want to help their students in any way, shape, or form. Even on their own time after the bell rings. That is much appreciated, especially because I like to get the highest grade I can get, so being able to have tutors outside the classroom is beneficial. The performing arts department is not only involved with their own productions, but openly helps students if they need extra help with school or are having personal family issues,"

"Few teachers go beyond to help students in need that may be struggling. Communicate with respect. Some are great in becoming real life situation mentors to influence students to move forward"

"The teachers here at Taft are very helpful. They are always available before and after school to help anyone who needs it. They are usually always prepared with their lesson plans. A lot of these teachers have great presentations in class and i am always interested in what they are presenting."

"My time at Taft High School was an okay experience. The whole environment was more about having fun and messing around instead of getting down to business. I had fallen into that environment and regret it completely. Majority of my experience through high school was talking to friends and making plans. I would enjoy the school games that they allowed us to attend during school hours. If I had to choose to go to this school or a different one, I would definitely choose one that was more about education."
