"If I could pick the perfect school for my kids, this school would come closest to it. If you're reading these reviews to find out more about the school, you need to ignore the couple of them that are negative. Those people must just have an ax to grind an you gotta remember that there are always people who will be unhappy in any situation. Anyway the staff at this school are fantastic and are willing to work hours and hours with any child and parent. They have a tough job to do since so most of the kids are poor and their parents aren't able to help out much, but that doesn't stop these teachers from expecting the best out of their students. What makes it even better is that the teachers and other staff expect that much and more out of themselves. What else could a parent want? I wouldn't want my kids at an other school."

"I moved here 6 weeks after school had already started and even though my kindergartner was transferring from another Cy Fair ISD school, it was a world of difference! I have been nothing but pleased and impressed with the staff and expectations. The counsellors are amazing and very supportive and my son's teacher is one of a kind. She keeps me informed and encourages open communication. She also has high expectations for learning and keeps me and my son challenged every day which I love. The school isn't located in an economically wealthy part of town but you would never know that by the level of commitment to making sure that the kids are treated equally with respect and given every opportunity to succeed."

"Very pleased with this school. My oldest daughter is in 2nd grade and has attended since Kindergarten. My youngest is in Kinder this year. Communication with teachers and administration has never been a problem. Emails are returned promptly. The music program has been surprisingly excellent."

"It is great hearing the encouraging words from the last parent - so there is hope. However the three years my child has been in the school I myself have reached out email after email and have actually been trying to setup appointments with my childs teacher to no avail. It was bad the past two years but has gotten progessively worse with attempts to communicate - I think it is the reverse. I even add notes to the daily conduct card and provide cell phone, work numbers. The last meeting I had the teacher didn't even call to say she would not be there and the time before she rescheduled only to arrive 10 minute late in the office and basically shut the meeting down after 7 minutes. Again, I hope it is just that we have been dealt a bad hand the past three years"

"I just happened to stumble onto this website and had to take the time to add in my thoughts. My son is in 3rd grade and has been at this school since it opened. I couldn't be happier and neither could he. Even though it hasn't been easy. People in this school have worked hard to figure out what works best for him. I really appreciate that, when I go up there, I'm made to feel like I'm a part of a team of people working for him. My neighbors are happy too so I don't know why there are any complaints. Some of the kids at this school don't have the parent support they need, so the school has to work miracles to get anything out of them. Well, I'm glad my son has people around him who care about all kids!"
