    "This is by far the best school I could ask for! The teachers are awsome, the school is nice and clean, and they really care about the children's education."

    "I had no idea how fed up with homework my child could be. It is unreal the amount they have and only being in 3rd grade taking at least 2 to 3 hours to do it each night. We help him after a long day at work . Everyone is so tired. I agree, these benchmarks and other tests come before the children. It shouldn't be like that. . The kids don't even get a chance to play. It's do homework, eat dinner, go back to homework, bathe, and then bed which is usually quite late at this time. Learning is supposed to fun not just work. You will get a lot more from a child praising them than putting them down..I am so afraid my son will be held back this year due to the problems with reading and understanding what he has read. It effects his reading & math."

    "I had more problems than I can tell you with this school. Like another person said I am teaching my daughter who is in 1st grade more than they are I think. Forget trying to get help if your child is behind with will take half the year to get it."

    "Miss Greer Rocks! She is an awsome teacher, but become more than that to my child. She became someone my child respected because Ms. Greer respected my child. I don't know what it's like in other schools, but the lunch period is too short. We are excited to see who we'll be getting as a 1st grade teacher and pray we get as much out of our second year at Walker as we did the first."

    "Thank goodness my kindergartener got a great teacher! Miss Wagers was wonderful. We had a few problems with discipline. I had a lot of questions about the Gifted and Talented program my child was in, but I couldn't get ahold of the person in charge of that. I would get e-mailed promises that she would call me and no call came through. The front desk and nurse are WONDERFUL. The food leaves a lot to be desired in terms of nutrition as well as taste. I'm glad we're rezoned next year."
