"I have been extremely disappointed in the education that my child who is in the 4th grade is receiving at Walker. Although she is always on the honor roll (either the Principal or A/B), she has learned absolutely nothing the entire school year except what I have had to teach her myself. I will be spending the summer teaching her what her teachers didn't all year so that she can be on par with other 4th graders at other schools. I have found that academically she has digressed tremendously since being at Walker and am looking to find a private school that she can attend so that she can get the education that she deserves!"

"It is still early in this school year and I am impressed on how much the teachers care about the children learning. One of my children are in kindergarden at Walker. Everyday she comes home singing a new song on something that she has learned in class. My son has been tested this year for the horizon program. I also like the payout of the classes and the children have two teachers that help them learn. the school encourage parent involvement. I have decided to join PTO and be a homeroom parent"

"I am not impressed with this school at all. The teachers and principal seem more worried about the TAKS tests than the students. The teachers and staff act like they are in a clique and when you visit the school to pick up a child or for lunch with your child... you feel as though you are looked down on. I believe many other Day cares are doing better art work than the 3rd graders in this school. The homework is a joke."
